Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
These terms govern a clinic's use of CarePulse. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your organization.
The service
CarePulse provides remote patient-monitoring, care-team, and billing-readiness tools. Access requires an active subscription; without one, care-team features are unavailable, though patient check-ins continue to function.
Your responsibilities
You are the covered entity. You're responsible for obtaining patient consent, for the clinical decisions your team makes, for the accuracy of data entered, and for configuring roles so staff see only what they should. Alert thresholds are yours to set and review.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe at the plan rate shown at checkout — a base fee plus a per-active-patient rate — and can be cancelled anytime. Insurance claim readiness and superbills are planning aids; you are responsible for what you submit to payers. Patient payments are processed through Stripe.
Not a medical device
CarePulse is non-diagnostic by design. It does not replace clinical judgement, emergency services, or an in-person evaluation. Do not use it for emergencies.
Availability & changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update the product and these terms; material changes will be communicated to account administrators.
This is a starting template, not legal advice. Have counsel review it against HIPAA, your state law, and your BAAs before you rely on it.
